One Nation Leader Resigns one day after General Election.

The leader of the One Nation Party, AaronCalderx, has announced his resignation following yesterday’s election, in which the party secured 11 out of 30 seats, coming second to the Social Democratic Party, which won 16 seats.

In a statement shared this evening, the leader thanked supporters and said the party had made “great gains across the country,” but that the result “did not go the way our party wanted or planned it to go.”

“I do feel like it is the right time for me to resign and for a new fresh face to take the leadership of this great party,” he said. “I truly do believe our party will build back better and greater than ever before.”

He went on to endorse TheRealLittleDragon, a member of the House of Lords, as his preferred successor and paid thanks to other party members, including the Deputy Leader Jinping and Party Chairman CombatCoby.

The statement also included criticism of the incoming WadgerBadger Ministry, stating it had “ripped up the paving stones laid down by the interim government and thrown them in the trash.”

The One Nation Party is expected to bring leadership elections in due course.
